Job Opening for Jurists

The Jurisprudence Division of the Sun Yat-Sen Institute for Social Sciences and Philosophy (ISSP), Academia Sinica, has one tenure-track research position (assistant research fellow, associate research fellow, or research follow) available for persons specializing in economic laws, constitutional law and administrative law. ISSP is multidisciplinary, and individuals with interdisciplinary research orientations are encouraged to apply. Excellent research support is provided by ISSP (including a rental apartment). There is no teaching requirement for the position.

Applicants need to have a Ph.D. degree in law (or will have one within a short period) and are expected to speak Mandarin. The deadline for application is September 30, 2002.
